Sweet Heart Valentine's Day Blog Feb 14 at 12am to Feb 16 to 11:45pm Hop

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Sweet Heart Valentine's Day Blog Hop; Feb 14 at 12:01am to Feb 16 to 11:45pm hosted by Dee of Designs From My Heart (http://deesdesignsfrommyheart.blogspot.com/). I am celebrating Valentine's Day and the love for my husband! I have asked you all to make a Love-Themed item for someone you love.  For my project I made a vintage inspired Valentine’s Day card.

My card is vintage inspired to show the love I have for my husband. We have celebrated 10 years of marriage in October of 2010.  This is the card I made for my husband for Valentine's Day. I used some pretty brown card stock with pink hearts and worked around that. The card measure 6 x 7 inches. I have a really long sentiment inside that I found online and just twicked it a little, but it takes up both pages inside. I added a punched border that coordinates with the base of the card. I have added some embellishments from K and Co. The flower is prima antiqued with Tim Holtz distressing brown ink and I topped it off with a vintage earring that I broke the back off of to use for my center. The photo is from my set of photo's that I have purchased from Dover Publications. My blog candy giveaway is a set of Spellbinders and a Zig 2 way glue pen. I also was able to get a sponsor. The sponsor is listed below.

Your Memories Here is giving a $10.00 gift certificate to use on their site. Please become a follower and post a comment on every site to participate in the blog candy giveaway.
Next stop on the hop is Lori  http://swandog-4scraps.blogspot.com/
I will pick the winner of the blog candy using random.org on 2/18/11.

If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go to Sandra 365 Days of Cricut (http://365daysofcricut.blogspot.com/). For this blog hop Sandra is celebrating her anniversary of when she met her hubby 8 years ago "It was Love At Fist Sight", also her 7th wedding anniversary, and of course Valentine's Day! She has asked us all to make a Love-Themed Gift for someone that we love and we will be sharing pictures of us with the person we love. For my project I made (a vintage inspired Valentine’s Day card )

If you are at ERIKA  http://cricutlove1.blogspot.com/ than you are in the right place. I am last on the list. If you missed any blogs than please go back to Sandra at (http://365daysofcricut.blogspot.com/).

I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating this event with Sandra. She is a sweet person and I am glad to have met her through other young ladies. You are all special.

My card is showing a young girl writing a letter to her husband who is in Iraq.  I used this valentine paper that is glittered and has some texture to it. I thought this image was perfect for Sandra since her husband has been serving in Iraq. I antiqued the edges with Tim Holtz distressing ink, I added a glittered heart with my Martha Stewart punch. I added a coordinating flower to finish it off. It is blank inside to add your own loving sentiment. I will be giving away blog candy, please become a follower or let me know that you are already a follower and please leave a comment and you will be entered to win the candy. Please make sure to leave comments on all of the blogs for a chance to win several different Grand Prizes on Sandra's blog!

Meighen & Nicole's Birthday Bash

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Nicole and Meighen's Bday/Bloggerversary Bash Feb 5th and 6th hosted by Nicole and Meighen at (Meighen at
http://www.lizspaperloft.blogspot.com/) than you are in the right spot. If you just arrived here and would like to start from the beginning please go to   (Meighen at
http://scrappin3rdeeschik.blogspot.com/ ). For this blog hop Meighen and Nicole are celebrating their birthday and anniversary. We have been asked to create a birthday/holiday themed card. I have created a birthday/valentine’s day card for each of them.

This card is a Happy Birthday/Happy Valentine's Day. I used this beautiful chocolate card stock with pink hearts on it. I had this vintage postcard that I thought would look great together. I added a chocolate and pink glittered flower, made the hat pin that is in the flower added a pink heart with a heart shaped paper clip and stamped it Happy Birthday. This card measures 6x6 and is blank inside for you to add your own loving sentiment.

This card is 7 x 6. I used this paper that I purchased with a teen goth theme. If you look closer you can see that it has wings in the middle of that heart burst. This paper is already glittered, but I added the K and Co (sweet chipboard), stamped it Happy Birthday and added a hand made ice cream cone also created in a pink glitter, chocolate cone, and a cute little heart on the top with a rhinestone. They ice cream cone is compliments of Kindra Snelling you can find her at Kindra's Creations. This is also blank inside for you to add your own loving sentiment.

I will be giving away some blog candy. Please become a follower or let me know that you are already a follower and please leave a comment to be entered to win some blog candy.
Please make sure to leave comments on all of the blogs and; become a follower for a chance to win several different blog candy!
