Hello everyone and welcome to The World Cardmaking Day Blog Hop 2nd till 6th of October, hosted by my good friend Gill at http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com!! Please invite your family and friends to participate in the hop. I hope you all hop through this journey with us. If you need to start back at the beginning her is Gill's link. http://creationsbygillm.blogspot.com
My card is created with a heavy manila card stock as a base. I have added the photo to this card printed with high quality printer paper.
This is a friendship card.
Here is another card that I have created for the change in the weather to keep you warm.
I would love it if you would stop back here to the beginning at http://deesdesignsfrommyheart.blogspot.com and let me know what project you like the most. To be eligible for the blog candy that I am giving away. You must leave a comment on each blog and become a member of each blog to be eligible for the candy, if you are already a member please mention that in your comment.

your card is absolutely GEORGEOUS! TFS! :) Can you tell me what paper you used to print the photo? It came out so crisp & clear...Also do you use inkjet or color laser? I have both & am not sure which REALLY creates the best pics sometimes...
ReplyDeleteI am now a member of all the blogs...I was previously a member of a couple(besides my own...) and I've commented on all of them.
Now, my favorite card is TOUGH to choose. Everyone made great cards...It would be greedy to say my own(although I am partial to mine)...and inaccurate because most of you ladies made MUCH more elegant cards than I did. I'm torn between The Purple Muse's Peace Dove card and Pearl Gateway's Love, Wish, Dream Music card....I love them equally...I think if I was forced to choose only ONE between those two it would have to be the Music card...but it would be tough.
Lovely retro image Dee!

ReplyDeleteYour card with the candle on it is so cute! What a nice idea for the weather change. I like the ivy around the bottom and the distressed paper adds to the warming feel! Thank you for sharing your ideas!

Hi Dee! I love your cards (as usual)! I must confess I am a little confused though as these don't look like photos :) I love the background paper on the top card - I have that one and I use it a lot! Those heart-shaped flowers are so cute too. Such a sweet friendship card. I love the softness of the candle card. It does make me feel warm inside :)
ReplyDeleteSo now, as for the other part of your post, when I clicked on the link, it brought me to your Vintage Heartfelt Designs page, of which I am a member. But I missed that lovely hop as I was canning salsa with my mother and sister all day. So I was not sure which hop you wanted us all to visit and follow and leave comments. If it is this one hosted by Gill, I have already done that - most of them I already followed :)
My favorite card? Hmm, that is difficult. So many fabulous cards on this hop. I don't think I could pick just one to be honest. Tammy's cornstalk (purple muse) card just spoke to me. But Linda's fusion projects just amazed me. And Jenn's manly cards are such an inspiration to me as I have 2 man cards to make this week and was struggling. Gill's wishing on a star makes me want to grab that little guy and squeeze him... See what I mean? Too hard. Sorry this is so long. Hugs to you Dee!
